Jasmine Shepherd

Jasmine Shepherd is an experienced professional in child advocacy and family support, currently serving as a Child Focus Recruiter at the Children's Home Society of North Carolina since November 2017. Jasmine's role involves reviewing child case files, engaging with families, and building trusting relationships to identify and meet the needs of children. Previously, Jasmine worked as a Systems Navigator at ACS, EFMP, where responsibilities included managing family records, program improvement, and developing partnerships to enhance family resilience. Additionally, Jasmine served as a Family Advocate at ActionPathways Headstart, focusing on child recruitment and resource acquisition for families, and held positions as a Lead Teacher in NC Pre-K and Case Manager at Better Home Health Care. Early career experience includes an internship at Robeson County Family Drug Treatment Court, conducting intake interviews and participating in court team meetings.
