Sameer Shakir

Sameer Shakir is a Pediatric Plastic Surgeon at Children's Wisconsin since August 2022 and has concurrently served as an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Prior experience includes a fellowship in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Seattle Children's from July 2021 to July 2022, and residency in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Penn Medicine from June 2015 to June 2021. Sameer Shakir further developed expertise as a Clinical Research Fellow in Pediatric Plastic Surgery at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where involvement included research in calvarial bone tissue engineering. Early experience includes a Clinical Research Fellow position at the Cleveland Clinic in the Division of Cardiology.
