Sara Silver

Sara Silver currently serves as a Contractor for External Communications at Children's Wisconsin, providing project management and strategic public relations support since January 2012. With extensive experience in media relations, Sara held the position of Media Specialist at Children's Wisconsin from 2003 to 2010, where responsibilities included cultivating relationships with media outlets to enhance public awareness of pediatric health programs. Additionally, Sara is the Principal of Traband Communications LLC and previously worked as the Community Affairs/Promotions Director at WDJT-TV CBS 58 Milwaukee, overseeing television production and community outreach initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Public Relations for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and as an Advertising Copywriter for Kohl's Department Stores. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed courses at UCLA Extension in 2018.
