Laura Matlashewski

Laura Matlashewski is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership, training, and human resources. As the Founder of Emerald Ten since 2023, Laura also works as a Trainer/Facilitator at ACHIEVE Centre for Leadership and an Instructor at The University of Winnipeg. In addition, Laura serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Human Resources Committee at the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, and is a Cabinet member for Community Leaders at United Way Winnipeg. Laura's commitment to community service is further demonstrated as a Board Member for the Province of Manitoba’s Child Care Qualifications and Training Committee and a former Advisory Committee Member to the Minister of Families. Laura holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management from the University of Manitoba and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources accredited by the Canadian Council of Human Resources Association. Previous roles include Manager of Total Rewards at Manitoba Public Insurance and various committee memberships in professional organizations.
