Jamey Snell

Jamey Snell has significant work experience in the field of anesthesiology. Starting in 2009 at NYU Langone Medical Center, Jamey served as an Internal Medicine Intern, followed by roles as an Anesthesiology Resident and eventually as Chief Resident. In 2013, Jamey joined Boston Children's Hospital as a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellow and later became a Staff Anesthesiologist. During this time, Jamey also worked as a Global Anesthesiology Fellow at Harvard Medical School. In 2015, Jamey worked as an Anesthesiologist at the University of Rwanda as part of a Human Resources for Health initiative. Jamey then returned to the U.S. and joined the Children's Hospital of Michigan in 2016, initially as the Director of Sedation Services and later becoming the Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology in 2022.

Jamey Snell attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Jamey then went on to study at Harvard Medical School from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in the field of Medicine.
