Terri Iler has a diverse work experience spanning various educational and healthcare institutions. Terri has held leadership roles in organizations such as CHOC Children's, where they directed community clinical outreach and managed mental health education programs. Terri also served as an associate director, responsible for collaborating with foundations and advancing strategic goals through grantmaking. Prior to CHOC Children's, Terri worked at California State University-Los Angeles, where they served as interim director of the University Academic Advisement Center and as a student success strategist. Terri also worked at the University of California, Irvine, as a program coordinator for the School of Social Sciences Office of Student Activities. In addition, Terri gained experience as a regional coordinator for the Foundation for California Community Colleges, supporting K-12 districts in college and career readiness initiatives. Terri began their career at California State University, Long Beach, where they held positions as an assistant director for the University Honors Program and as an academic advisor for the University Center for Undergraduate Advising.
Terri Iler received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education & Italian Studies from California State University, Long Beach in 2008. Terri then pursued a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from UCLA, graduating in 2016.
