Kristi McGowin

Kristi McGowin currently serves as the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters since February 2024. Previously, Kristi held various leadership roles at Children's Mercy Kansas City from July 2010 to February 2024, including Senior Director of Emergency Services and Senior Director of Primary Care, where responsibilities focused on nursing practice leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes. Additional experience includes managing the ENT and Dental clinics, providing pediatric care as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, and a significant role in territory sales at CVS Caremark. Kristi's educational background includes a Doctorate of Nursing Practice and an Executive MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Nursing.
