Crystal M. Kurzen

Crystal M. Kurzen, PhD, is an accomplished grant consultant with extensive experience in grant writing, research, and project coordination within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as a Grant Consultant at Resurgens Impact Consulting since July 2024 and as Director of Grants and Foundation Relations at Children's Hunger Alliance since June 2021, Crystal focuses on developing and executing grant proposals to secure funding for health, human services, advocacy, and organizing initiatives. Previously, Crystal held the position of Grants Manager at LifeCare Alliance, overseeing compliance and monitoring of grant requests, and was involved in various academic roles including Instructor of Record at The University of Texas at Austin and faculty positions at Columbus State Community College. Crystal earned a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Master's degree in Comparative Studies from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in English and Spanish from Anderson University.
