Lupe Guzmán has worked in various human resources and talent relations roles throughout their career. Lupe is currently the Director of Talent Relations at the Children's Institute, a position they have held since November 2022. Before that, they were the Director of Human Resources at the same organization from January to October 2022. Prior to their work at the Children's Institute, Guzmán served as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens from February 2021 to January 2022. Lupe also worked as the Human Resource Manager at The Huntington from August 2015 to January 2021. Guzmán's previous experience includes a role as a Human Resource Manager at MOLAA | The Museum of Latin American Art from July 2013 to July 2015. Lupe also worked at the Youth Policy Institute, where they served as the Director of Human Resources from June 2007 to February 2013 and as a Workforce Development Coordinator from August 2002 to May 2007. Prior to that, they worked as an Employment Specialist at Chrysalis Employment Services from August 2001 to July 2002.
Lupe Guzmán has a Master of Science in Public Administration (MSPA) from California State University, Los Angeles. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from the same institution.
