Chris Akeroyd

Chris Akeroyd serves as Senior Vice President, Information Services, and Chief Information Officer (CIO), and is responsible for leading all efforts of the Information Services groups in the organization. His oversight encompasses systems and technology, cyber security, and health care technology management and support.

At Children’s Health, Chris serves as a champion in the organization’s overall enterprise digital business enablement, bringing knowledge of current trends and best practices, while leading his team to deliver on Children’s Health's future vision of leveraging information and technology in the business model design, products, and services development.

Prior to joining Children’s Health, Chris served as Director for Technology at UMC Health System in Lubbock, Vice President and CIO for a national mortgage company, and Director of Technology Operations for the North American and Philippine divisions of a global telecommunications organization.
