Kristin Scott

Kristin Scott, Ph.D., serves as the Behavioral Health Team Lead and Lead Psychologist at Children's Health, directing a team of clinicians in the Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence to provide trauma-informed care for children involved in child welfare. With extensive experience in clinical psychology, Kristin has previously worked in various roles including Clinical Psychologist in the Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Unit, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow specializing in clinical child psychology. Additionally, Kristin holds the position of Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center and has a background in education as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Tulane University. Kristin earned a Ph.D. in School Psychology from Tulane University and holds a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Howard University.
