Stormee Williams, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Stormee began their career as a Pediatrician at The Martin Luther King Jr. Family Clinic in 2006 and continued in that role until 2012. From 2011 to 2012, they also worked as a Lead Physician at Parkland Hospital. In 2012, they joined Children's Health as a Lead Physician and held that position until 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Medical Director of School-based Telemedicine at Children's Health. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Medical Director of Virtual Health and held that position until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Vice President and Medical Director, Network Development and Innovation at Children's Health. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer at Children's Health, starting in February 2022.
Dr. Stormee Williams holds an MD degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Stormee'sundergraduate education was completed at Spelman College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from 1993 to 1997. Dr. Williams furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Texas Woman's University, completing the program from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, they have received certifications in Developing a Competitive Strategy and Strategic Planning Foundations from LinkedIn, as well as in Implementing Winning Strategies from Columbia Business School. Dr. Stormee Williams is also recognized as a Fellow of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatrics.
