Anai Gonzalez-Cordero is an accomplished professional currently serving as an Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Sydney since June 2019. Additionally, Anai is a Group Leader in Stem Cell Medicine at the Children's Medical Research Institute and serves as the Elect Secretary for the Australasian Society for Stem Cell Research since November 2021. Anai also manages the Stem Cell & Organoid Facility at the Children's Medical Research Institute. Previous experience includes a role as a Sensory Systems and Therapies Fellow in Stem Cell Biology and Post-doctoral Research Associate at University College London from 2012 to February 2019, focusing on cell therapies for retinal degeneration. Anai holds a PhD in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology of Fertility and Embryo Development, both from University College London.
