Heather Russo

Heather Russo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Heather began their career as an Executive Intern at Target in 2007 and later interned at the American Red Cross. In 2009, they joined Turner House Children's Clinic as a Business Office Manager and eventually became the Medical Home Project Manager.

In 2012, Heather joined Qualis Health as a Consultant-Professional and worked there until 2016. During their time at Qualis Health, they gained expertise in their field.

Since 2016, Heather has been associated with Children's Mercy Kansas City. Heather started as the Manager of Strategic, Business, and Community Planning and later transitioned to the role of Ambulatory Business and Operations Manager. Heather then served as the Director of Business and Operations for Ambulatory Services before becoming the Senior Business Director for Clinical Operations and Access, their current role.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Heather also obtained certification as a Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert from the National Committee for Quality Assurance in the year 2013.
