Jason Whittle

Jason Whittle Ph.D. is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in revenue forecasting, customer modeling, and quantitative research. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Children's Mercy since September 2025, Jason previously held the same title at Pluralsight, where responsibilities included mentoring junior data scientists and developing models using Docker, AWS, Snowflake, and Python. Jason's background also features roles as a Senior Research Analyst at Salt Lake Community College, a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Redlands, and a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Utah, along with experience in clinical trial management at Primary Children's Medical Center. Jason holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Utah, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
