Mary Bosco Heinrich has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Mary is currently the Director of Philanthropic Strategy & Communications at Children's Mercy Hospital, where they have been since 2018. In this role, they are responsible for providing strategic direction and management of communications and marketing plans for philanthropic initiatives. During their time there, they have achieved significant growth in online giving, increased the number of donors, and improved e-file through integrated marketing efforts. Mary also manages and mentors a team of 13 people.
Prior to their current role, Mary worked at Fleishman-Hillard International Communications for 15 years, starting as a Senior Account Executive in 2004 and rising to the position of Senior Vice President in 2013. During their tenure, they served as Global Account Lead for various healthcare clients and managed project timelines and budgets of over $2 million annually.
Before Fleishman-Hillard, Mary worked at the University of Kansas Medical Center as a Senior Coordinator of Alumni and Community Relations, and at Alpha Delta Pi Sorority as a Leadership Development Consultant.
Mary has gained extensive experience in communications, marketing, and strategic planning throughout their career, and has consistently demonstrated their ability to achieve results and lead teams effectively.
Mary Bosco Heinrich attended Kansas State University from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. Mary then proceeded to study at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 2011 to 2014, completing a Master's degree in Public Health.
