Anna Ward

Anna Ward has extensive experience in both volunteer and professional roles, currently serving as a Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician at Buckhall Volunteer Fire Department since October 2021. In addition, Anna has held various positions at the Children's Science Center since August 2015, including Events Manager and Guest Services Lead, where responsibilities involved engaging guests and promoting STEM education. Previous roles include guest services and information aid positions at prestigious organizations like the Smithsonian's National Zoo and the Newseum, as well as volunteer work in community and educational settings. Anna holds a BSW in Social Work from Mary Baldwin University and has completed studies at Northern Virginia Community College.
