Katie Harris

Katie Harris has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Katie began their career at the Siena College Research Institute as a Telephone Interviewer in April 2018, a position they held until September 2018. Following this, they joined Boehringer Ingelheim as an HR IT Enabling Functions Summer Intern for three months from June 2019 to August 2019.

In 2020, Katie joined the United Way of Westchester and Putnam as an Economic Mobility AmeriCorps VISTA Member, contributing to their mission of addressing economic inequality. This role lasted for one year, from August 2020 to August 2021.

Katie then transitioned to The Children's Village as a Human Resources Assistant in August 2021. Katie assumed this position for two years before advancing to the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist, a position they currently hold from July 2023 onwards.

Lastly, Katie gained valuable work experience during their time at Brewster Public Library, where they served as a Student Library Clerk for seven years, from January 2012 to December 2018.

Throughout their various roles, Katie has developed a strong skill set and has gained experience in different areas of human resources and research.

Katie Harris completed their education at Siena College from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Management with a focus on Business. In 2019, they had the opportunity to participate in a Study Abroad program at the University of Glasgow, which allowed their to explore their interests in both Business and Scottish Culture.
