Jennifer Reed-Martinez is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in teaching, community engagement, and grants management. As the Grants Manager at ChildSafe since August 2025, Jennifer oversees funding initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Community Engagement for Musical Bridges Around the World and as an English teacher at Roosevelt High School within the NEISD. Additionally, Jennifer's earlier roles encompass positions as a librarian, tutor for various educational programs, and an office manager, showcasing a strong commitment to educational enhancement and community support. Jennifer holds multiple degrees in English and Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Southwestern institutions.

ChildSafe
Our mission is to restore dignity, hope, and trust to children traumatized by abuse and neglect. ChildSafe is the first stop for children entering the justice system after sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or witnessing a violent crime or domestic violence. As the only Children’s Advocacy Center in San Antonio and Bexar County, we provide forensic interviews, crisis intervention, case management, and advanced clinical therapy services to aid in the healing of child abuse victims.
