Allison Clements

Allison Clements is a dedicated professional in the field of Therapeutic Recreation, currently serving as a Direct Support Professional at Chileda since September 2018, where responsibilities include collaborating with students aged 6 to 21 with severe behavioral challenges to implement behavior plans and facilitate daily living activities. In addition, Allison has been a Therapeutic Recreation Intern at Aptiv since May 2018, focusing on enhancing Day Services programming and supporting staff through evidence-based practices. Previous experience includes roles as a Respite and SCL Service Assistant at ChildServe, an Activity Assistant at Iowa City Rehabilitation and Care Center, and a position supporting the Dean of Students at the University of Iowa. Allison holds a Master's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Iowa.
