Tony Oliver

Tony Oliver currently serves as the Lead Driver Manager at Chiltern Railways since October 2021, following a tenure as Operations Improvement Manager and Local Operations Manager at GTR between November 2017 and September 2021. Prior to that, Tony held the role of Employability Officer at Watford Football Club CSE Trust from January 2017 to November 2017 and contributed over 22 years to the Ministry of Justice UK as a Band 4 Specialist Supervising Officer within the HM Prison Service. In this role, Tony focused on physical education, motivating prisoners through accredited courses, managing departmental operations, and controlling the budget. Earlier in Tony's career, responsibilities included serving as a Prison Officer from January 1994 to January 2007, where supervision and training of staff, report writing, and rehabilitation efforts were key duties. Tony also worked as an Assistant Store Manager at McDonald's from 1985 to 1993, overseeing restaurant management and completing the Advanced Level of the McDonald's Management University program.
