Calin Pop

Calin Pop currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at CHIMCOMPLEX since September 2023. Previously, Calin held the role of Head of Foreign Trade at Nitrogénművek Ltd. from 2020 to 2023 and was the General Manager for Romania & Moldova at Borealis LAT from October 2017 to July 2020. Calin contributed to Fertilizers Europe as a member of the Trade and Economics Committee from March 2015 to July 2020 and served as Commercial Director at AZOMURES, managing a successful growth of 40% from February 2015 to June 2017. Earlier experience includes working as a Business Management Consultant from July 2010 to January 2015, General Manager at United Euro Distribution from March 2009 to July 2010, and Sales Director at Orkla Foods from 2006 to March 2009. Calin started a career in sales management at Philip Morris and Nestle, where significant achievements included leading a sales team to elevate Nescafe and Joe sweet snacks to market leadership positions. Calin holds an Engineer's degree in Engineering Technology from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
