Izel Maras

Izel Maras is an experienced design professional currently serving as the Lead Product Designer at Chime since September 2024, focusing on Chime® MyPay™. Previously, Izel was the Head of Design and a founding team member at Roon from March 2022 to September 2024, and served as the Product Design Lead at Verizon from May 2017 to March 2022, contributing to significant projects such as the rebranding of the My Verizon App and enhancements to the Verizon Digital Design System. Earlier in the career, Izel worked as a Senior Product Designer, focusing on various features and programs within the My Verizon App, and held the position of Visual Designer at frog from September 2015 to February 2017, as well as Designer & Developer at Marcelo Coelho Studio from July 2014 to August 2015. Izel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Literary and Visual Studies from Tufts University and completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at Ted Ankara College Foundation High Schools.
