Lin-Yu Tai (Tim)

Lin-Yu (Tim) Tai is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in machine learning and software development. Currently serving as an Engineering Technical Lead at Chime since September 2020, Lin-Yu previously held the position of Software Engineer at Airbnb, contributing to the development of infrastructure for machine learning applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer II at Yahoo! Inc., focusing on data pipeline optimization and model design, as well as internship positions at Citi and Yahoo, where Lin-Yu analyzed data and implemented recommendation systems. Earlier work involved quantitative research at Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation and research and design engineering at LuxNet Corp., highlighting proficiency in statistical analysis and algorithm development.
