Xiongwen Rui

Xiongwen Rui currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer at Chime, overseeing fraud risk, credit risk, AML, and enterprise risk management since November 2022. Previously, Xiongwen Rui held significant leadership roles at Ant Group, including General Manager of the Americas Region and President of Security and Risk Management, where responsibilities encompassed establishing regional business operations and managing a team of over 1200 professionals focused on security and risk management. Xiongwen Rui's extensive background in risk management also includes a long tenure at American Express, where roles spanned from Senior Vice President & Head of Global Fraud Risk Management to Vice President, with accountability for fraud and credit risk across various products and regions. Xiongwen Rui's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics from The Ohio State University, as well as advanced degrees from Peking University.
