Xi-Qing Wang

Xi-Qing Wang currently serves as a Professor and CEO at the Center for Crop Functional Genomics and Molecular Breeding at China Agricultural University since April 2014, where responsibilities include developing and executing strategic plans for the center. Prior to this role, Xi-Qing Wang worked as a Senior Scientist at BASF from August 2002 to April 2014, leading an international collaboration team focused on data analysis. Academic experience includes postdoctoral positions at the University of Missouri and Pennsylvania State University, specializing in plant functional genomics and guard cell signal transduction, respectively. Educational background includes a PhD in Plant Physiology, an MS in Plant Nutrition, and a BS in Soil Science, all obtained from Northwest A&F University.
