Philip S.L. Tsai, 70, Filipino, was first elected as Independent Director on November 7, 2018. Aside from the Bank, he does not hold any position in other PSE-listed companies. He also serves as Independent Director in the Bank subsidiaries CBSI, CBCC, CBC-IBI. He has had more than 35 years of banking experience, previously holding key positions in First CBC Capital (Asia) Limited, Midwest Medical Management, Fortune Paper Inc., Chemical Bank New York, Consolidated Can Corp., Plastic Container Packaging, and in the Bank’s Retail Banking Business until his retirement in 2015.
