Ilan D. Bass

Ilan D. Bass 白义兰 serves as the Director of Member Engagement and Programmes at the China-Britain Business Council since August 2024, focusing on enhancing member relations through events in the UK and China. Concurrently, Ilan functions as a mediator at Orchid Mediation, emphasizing inclusive mediation processes, and operates an independent practice as a mediator, facilitator, trainer, and coach since July 2015, delivering extensive mediation training and conflict coaching. Prior roles include Senior Relationship Manager at Criticaleye, Business Development Specialist at PTL Group, Administrative Officer at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and various positions with the UK government including Customer Liaison Officer and Entry Clearance Officer. Ilan's educational background includes an MA in Public Policy from Tel Aviv University, and a BA in East Asian Studies from The University of Sheffield.
