Sofia Ore

Sofia Ore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sofia worked at CEVT from 2016 to 2023, holding various positions such as Head of Test Environment, Head of SW Integration & Release, Head of Sub-system Design, Project Director, and CAE Director. At CEVT, they led teams and oversaw activities related to testing, integration, base technology, and vehicle mode management. Prior to CEVT, Sofia worked at GKN Aerospace as a Manager for Materials Engineering, managing teams and overseeing metallographic laboratory engineering and materials application engineering. Sofia also worked at Volvo Aero as an Engineering Lead, Work Package Leader at the EU level, Deputy Manager of the Aerothermodynamics department, and Aerodynamicist, where they led a project focused on improving aerodynamic non-conformance work. Sofia also had summer employment at Siemens and Alstom Power as a CFD Analyst, specializing in the simulation of flow in gas turbines.

Sofia Ore received their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemical and Physics Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. Sofia attended the university from 2000 to 2006.
