Thomas Ahlqvist is an experienced engineering professional with a comprehensive background in electric propulsion systems and vehicle development. Currently serving as a Module Project Leader at CEVT since August 2016, Ahlqvist focuses on the definition and development of Hybrid Electric Vehicle Systems for a new Modular Architecture. Prior roles include Project Engineer at National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB, where responsibilities included pre-development for electric vehicles, and multiple positions at CEVT and LeanNova Engineering, encompassing project management and planning for powertrain controls and electrical vehicle programs. Ahlqvist's career began at Saab Automobile, where significant contributions were made in powertrain development and integration for electric and petrol vehicles. Ahlqvist holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University and a High School Diploma in Construction Engineering.
