Claire Mengyi Li

Claire Mengyi Li, CFA, currently serves as Vice President and Asia economist at China Investment Corporation, focusing on economic analysis in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand since July 2021. Previously, from July 2019 to June 2021, Claire worked as a Research Officer at the International Monetary Fund, where responsibilities included maintaining commodity price databases and monitoring market trends. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Analyst at the World Bank Group, contributing to the Global Economic Prospects report, and internships at the Institute of International Finance and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Claire holds a Master's degree in Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Political Science from Sun Yat-sen University.
