Dr. Muhammad Salman Hameed

Dr. Muhammad Salman Hameed is an accomplished Associate Research Fellow at CHINA since January 2023 and has been serving as an Education Consultant at IEACON Consulting since February 2019. Previously, Dr. Hameed held the position of Assistant Professor at the South Punjab Institute of Science and Technology from December 2019 to December 2022 and at Ghazi University from November 2018 to November 2019, where responsibilities included research and teaching. Notably, Dr. Hameed was awarded the Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs (IPFP) by HEC for leading a research project on the role of Argonaute1 in RNA interference pathways of Plutella xylostella. Earlier experience includes work as an Entomologist at the Municipal Office in District Sheikhupura and the Punjab Local Government Board, focusing on anti-dengue initiatives. Dr. Hameed earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecology from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University and holds multiple degrees in Agricultural Entomology from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.
