Xinwei Zhang

Xinwei Zhang is a highly skilled researcher and educator with extensive experience in analyzing data related to racial discrimination, youth well-being, and educational impacts. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Teachers College, Columbia University, Xinwei Zhang focuses on the trajectories of racial discrimination among Asian American youth. Previous roles include a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University, where investigations centered on early childhood educators' well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a Research Data Coordinator at the Kessler Foundation, overseeing projects related to spinal cord injury. Additionally, Xinwei Zhang has contributed to various organizations as a Development Intern at the Chinese-American Planning Council and engaged in research on social development and resettlement programs in multiple academic and nonprofit settings. With a Ph.D. in Education and Human Services from Lehigh University, Xinwei Zhang's academic journey also includes a Master's in Psychology from New York University and a Bachelor's in Applied Psychology from Nanjing Normal University.
