Liberty Maidza has a diverse work experience in the field of sports and recreation. Liberty started their career as a Sports Officer at Gaths Mine in 2003 and then worked as a Sports Administrator at BNC from 2006 to 2012. Liberty then joined the University of Zimbabwe as a Deputy Director of Sports and Recreation in 2009 and held this position until 2019. Currently, they are working as the Director of Sports, Culture, and Recreation at Chinhoyi University of Technology.
Liberty Maidza holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategic Marketing from the University of Zimbabwe, which they completed from 2015 to 2018. Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma in Management of Olympic Sports Organizations from the International Olympic Committee in 2010 and 2011. Liberty also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physical Education and Sport from Zimbabwe Open University, which they earned from 2001 to 2005. In 2004, they attended Semmelweis University and obtained a Diploma in Sports Coaching. Furthermore, Liberty holds a Diploma in Education from the University of Zimbabwe, which was completed from 1993 to 1995. Their formal education history does not include information about their time at Marlborough High School in Harare, Zimbabwe.
