Zviemurwi J Chihambakwe

Zviemurwi J Chihambakwe, PhD, is a seasoned academic and researcher at Chinhoyi University of Technology, serving as a Lecturer and Researcher since September 2011, where responsibilities include conducting research, developing curricula in engineering sciences, and preparing lectures on topics such as Sustainable Energy Technologies and Bioenergy. Zviemurwi also contributes as a Project Counterpart for the International Atomic Energy Agency, focusing on energy planning in Southern Africa. Previous roles include Junior Programme Officer at Hivos, coordinating the Zimbabwe Domestic Biogas Programme, and Plant Chemist at Goldstar Sugars Harare, overseeing quality assurance and developing quality management systems. Zviemurwi holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University, a Master’s in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management from the National University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
