Zubair Adam

Zubair Adam has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Zubair began their career at LafargeHolcim in 2002 as a Senior Haulier Accountant. In 2005, they joined John Laing as a Management Accountant and later transitioned to the role of Business Analyst, where they worked until 2009.

In 2009, they joined Primary Horizons Ltd as a Financial Controller and was subsequently promoted to Finance Director. Zubair held these positions until 2011.

Afterwards, Zubair joined Babcock International Group, where they served as the Financial Controller - UK from 2011 to 2013. Zubair then took on the role of VP Finance - US & Canada from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, they joined Chinook Sciences, LLC as the Finance Director until 2016 when they became a Partner at ACCUFINE LTD.

Most recently, Zubair joined Equals Trust in 2018 as the Director, serving as the Governor and Chair of the F & A Committee until September 2021.

Zubair Adam completed their Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Accounting & Finance from the University of Northampton from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Gateway High School in Harare, Zimbabwe from 1992 to 2002, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period. In terms of additional certifications, Zubair Adam obtained the Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) qualification from ACCA in 2006 and the Institute of Financial Accountants (FFA) qualification from The Institute of Financial Accountants in 2016.
