Carmen Grillo

Carmen Grillo has over 25 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, and logistics within the fresh produce industry. Currently serving as Mgr. Production Planning & Inventory Control at Fresh Express since September 2015, Carmen effectively plans production to achieve a 99% order case fill rate, overseeing a diverse range of short shelf-life SKUs across multiple production lines. Previously, as West Master Planner at Chiquita, responsibility included setting inventory levels for finished goods and collaborating across various departments to meet business objectives. Carmen also held key roles at Organic Alliance, Inc. as Director of Logistics, Ace Tomato Co., Inc. as Customer Service/Logistics Manager, and Fresh Express as West Customer Service Manager, where skills in supplier qualification, contract coordination, training, and performance evaluation were developed and honed.
