Kevin Blenkhorn has a extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kevin started their career as a Naval Flight Officer with VAW-122 Steeljaws in 1993 and moved on to VAW-121 Bluetails in 1996. In 1997, they joined Massachusetts Maritime Academy as an Associate Professor and later worked as a Software Engineer at Industrial Light and Magic from 2001 to 2005. Kevin then served as the VP of Sensors and Unmanned Systems at 21st Century Systems, Inc. from 2006 to 2009. Kevin worked as the Director of Robotics at Two Lights Technologies, LLC from 2009 to 2011 and then took on the role of Associate Chairman in the Computer Science Department at the United States Naval Academy from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they are the Director of Plans and Exercises at Chiron Technology Services, Inc. starting from 2014. Their areas of expertise include cyber security, teaching, research, and engineering.
Kevin Blenkhorn attended Harvard University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended the United States Naval Academy from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering.
