Doug Wilson

Doug Wilson, MD FAAFP, is a seasoned medical professional specializing in palliative care. Currently serving as a Palliative Care Physician at Providence and the Medical Director of Palliative Care at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, Doug has played a pivotal role as the founding medical director in this capacity. Additionally, Doug is the Associate Medical Director at Napa Valley Hospice and the Founder of Common Good Advance Care Planning®, an organization dedicated to ensuring patients' values and wishes are respected during health crises. Doug's extensive experience as a family physician and proceduralist at OLE Health and previous roles, including hospitalist at IPC Healthcare, combines with a strong educational background that includes an MD from Loma Linda University and ongoing studies at Harvard Medical School. Doug was also a founding board member of Honoring Choices Napa Valley, contributing to the advancement of care planning initiatives.
