Chris Laventure has a diverse work experience, starting in 1989 as a Satellite Systems Operator in the US Army. From 1996 to 2003, they worked as a Multimedia Programmer at ARA, where they developed and integrated computer-based training programs for the Air Force Readiness and Full Spectrum Threat Response directorates. As a Lead Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation from 2003 to 2014, Chris programmed and designed over 200 computer and web-based training programs for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). Since 2014, they have been working as the ADL Programming Lead at Chitra Productions, specializing in the design, development, and delivery of training products and services for the AFCEC and DoD users worldwide, with a focus on SCORM conformant web-based training products.
Chris Laventure has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Troy University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Florida Gulf Coast University from 2004 to 2005, where they received an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Information Systems. In addition to their formal education, Chris also holds certifications in Gamification from Coursera, which they obtained in May 2013, and in Enterprise Networking Professional from Florida State University - Center for Professional Development, which they acquired in May 2001.
