His experience as outside counsel includes creating and managing global patent portfolios for proprietary pharmaceutical companies as well as performing freedom-to-operate and invalidity analyses for generic pharmaceutical companies in the context of ANDA submissions. He also has experience as in-house counsel for three global pharmaceutical companies managing all aspects of intellectual property for drug candidate programs throughout various phases of research and development, as well as counseling R&D and business units on issues relating to IP, including Hatch-Waxman and product lifecycle management, performing due diligence investigations and assisting with licenses and acquisitions.
