Katie Sandlin

Katie Sandlin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Katie is currently the Executive Director of Compliance at Choice Health at Home, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the State President of Clinical Operations at the same company, focusing on patient-centered care, growth, and site development in their home state. Katie was also the Senior Vice President of Operations and VP of Clinical Operations at Choice Health at Home from 2022 to 2023 and from 2020 to 2022, respectively.

Before joining Choice Health at Home, Katie worked at Heart to Heart Hospice as an RN Patient Care Manager, Alternate Executive Director, and Disaster Coordinator from 2018 to 2020. Katie also held the role of RN Patient Care Manager from 2017 to 2018 at the same company.

Katie's previous experience includes working as the Director of Nursing at Senior Care Centers from 2015 to 2017. Katie also had a significant tenure at Heart to Heart Hospice, where they held various roles such as RN, Patient Care Manager, and Alternate Executive Director from 2011 to 2015, and RN Case Manager from 2010 to 2011.

Katie'scareer started as a Nurse Extern at UT Health East Texas in 2006. Katie later worked as an RN Charge Nurse at Senior Living Properties LLC from 2009 to 2010. Throughout their career, Katie has demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and patient care skills.

Katie Sandlin's education history begins with their graduation from Jacksonville High School in 2005. Katie then pursued an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Tyler Junior College between 2006 and 2008. In 2020, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington. Following this, from 2022 to 2023, they enrolled at the University of Texas at Tyler to complete Continued Nursing Education and obtained a BSN degree. Currently, they are attending the Texas A&M University School of Law, where they are pursuing a Master of Legal Studies (M.L.S) with a focus on Healthcare Law.
