Nancy Gates

Nancy Gates possesses extensive legal and compliance experience within the manufacturing industry. Currently serving as General Counsel and Executive Director of Compliance and Human Resources at Washington Mills since 2002, Nancy is responsible for legal matters, insurance negotiations, M&A activity, and the corporate compliance program for North America. Previous roles include General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Exolon-ESK Company, where oversight of labor-management issues and contract negotiations were key responsibilities, and an Associate position at Magavern, Magavern & Grimm, focused on immigration and business formation. Nancy holds a JD from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a BA in Political Science from Canisius University, along with education from Cornell University ILR School and Northeastern University.
