Gopinath Akula

Gopinath Akula has extensive experience in cloud platform engineering and application development, currently serving as Director of Cloud Platform Engineering at Choice Hotels International since March 2017. Previously, Gopinath Akula held various leadership roles in cloud and software engineering at Choice Hotels International, including Senior Manager and Manager titles. Prior to this, Gopinath Akula contributed as Assistant Director of Application Development at the University of the Pacific, enhancing application development across multiple colleges. Additional experience includes roles at Scottsdale Insurance, Maximus, Agentis Software, Sempra Energy, and Satyam Computers, demonstrating a strong background in software development and team leadership. Gopinath Akula holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Osmania University.
