Deniyi Talabi

Deniyi Talabi is an experienced security and compliance manager, currently serving as the Manager of Security & Compliance at Choice Properties REIT since August 2021, where responsibilities include managing stakeholder relationships and supporting audits and compliance initiatives. Previously, roles included Manager of Cybersecurity Operations at Bell Canada, focusing on secure software development practices and vulnerability assessments, as well as Project Manager for Enterprise Security Services at Scotiabank, successfully coordinating penetration testing for multiple applications. Talabi has a robust background in information security governance and experience in project management from various organizations, including The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and VelocityEHS. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Information Management from Dalhousie University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Management from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos.
