Rael has overall responsibility for Choice Properties’ strategy, operations, and performance.

Rael joined Choice upon the acquisition of Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust (“CREIT”) in 2018. He joined CREIT in 2012 as CFO and became President & COO in 2014. Prior to joining CREIT he was with the Brookfield Group of Companies, where he served as CFO of several of Brookfield`s subsidiary public companies including Rouse Properties, Brookfield Office Properties Canada, and Howard Hughes Corporation. Rael holds a BBA degree and is a CPA, CA.
