Mr. Jagannath Kallakurchi Venkobarao (M.Sc. Physics, 1986), is currently the CEO & MD of Choice Solutions Ltd., Hyderabad. Prior to setting up Choice Solutions Ltd. in 1991, he was the Branch Manager at Computer Point. He has over 30 yrs of work experience in the IT field behind him. He has enriched himself with degrees from internationally renowned institutions including an EMBA from Indian School of Business (with credits from Wharton School of Management, Kellogg School of Management, and FDC, Brazil) as well as a certificate course from Harvard Business School on ‘Strategy and Implementation’.
A voracious reader and avid writer, he is a strategic thinker who derives inspiration from Jack Welch. A proponent of cloud computing, he has been part of symposiums and gatherings to promote its adoption across the Indian IT spectrum. He has recently co-authored a book “Cloud Computing – Black Book™” and has plans to write more books on management. His passion for teaching, something he did in the early part of his career; has brought him back to his alma mater - IIT Roorkee as Honorary Fellow at the Department of Management Studies. He has been sharing his experience with students in the areas like Sales Management, Negotiations, and Strategic Networking for the past few years.
