John Scott

John Scott is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at ChoiceOne Bank since March 2025. Prior to this role, John held the position of Chief Technology Officer at The State Bank from February 2017 to March 2025, and served as Senior Vice President of IT during that time. Additionally, John worked as Vice President of Process Improvement & Implementations at Team One Credit Union from September 2015 to February 2017, and spent 15 years at Security Credit Union in various IT roles, culminating as VP of Information Technology. Earlier in John’s career, responsibilities included serving as IT Supervisor at Team One Credit Union from January 1994 to April 2000. John Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Spring Arbor University.
