Yong Jae Lee

Yong Jae Lee is a highly experienced professional in the field of medicinal biology and drug discovery. Currently serving as the Head of Medicinal Biology at Chong Kun Dang Pharm. since April 2014, Yong Jae Lee leads a team focused on metabolic diseases, developing in-vitro assays using High Throughput Systems and evaluating enzyme inhibitors for drug discovery. Additionally, Yong Jae Lee holds consultant roles at the Korea Drug Development Fund and the Korean Fund of Regenerative Medicine, while actively contributing as an expert member for The Korean Society of Nonclinical Study and an evaluation committee member for the commercialization promotion agency for R&D outcomes. Previous positions include adjunct professorship at Hanyang University and associate research scientist roles at Yale University School of Medicine, where research centered on the mTOR and AMPK pathways. Yong Jae Lee possesses advanced degrees in molecular genetics and a Pharm MBA, obtained from prestigious institutions, underscoring a robust academic foundation.
