Alan Farrell has worked for four different organizations since 2015. Alan started as Ireland Sevens Lead Doctor for the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) in 2015 and then became Lead Doctor for Connacht Rugby in 2016. In 2019, they were appointed Chief Medical Officer for Choose Health and, in 2022, they became the Founder of CDxP.
Alan Farrell obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Trinity College Dublin between 1995 and 2001, with a field of study in Medicine, MB, BCh, BAO, BA. Alan then returned to Trinity College Dublin in 2009 to complete a Master's Degree in Sports & Exercise Medicine, which they completed in 2010.
